Storm Hy-Road Bowling Ball

storm-hy-road.jpg

This bowling ball was designed to be an “in-between” of the T-Road Solid and T-Road Pearl. Storm combined the two coverstocks, consequently creating a hybrid coverstock. The ball has a mid-lane read to handle a medium-heavy lane condition. The reaction can be described as the ultimate benchmark reaction, mid-lane read with a predictable hook motion.

Storm Hy-Road - User Reviews

Jan. 11, 2009 - I have had the Hyroad about 1 month now, and am still learning when to use it.  I have shot a few 260+ games with it, and a 279 game with it.  I can't say that I prefer it over my Total NV, but it's a great bowling ball on the right conditions.  I normally use it when the lanes first start to breakdown a little.

Jan. 13, 2009 - I have had this ball for almost two weeks. But, I have only thrown one full game with it I had a 236. I actually need a little more oil on the lanes in order to play with it.

Jan. 14, 2009 -  I have this ball, and have had it for about a month. It hooks a little too early for me on what we have been bowling on lately. As a matter of fact, lanes everywhere have been dry for me lately, and I’ve had to throw much of my older equipment and leave all of my new balls in the bag. I think I’ll like it though, when there’s oil on the lane. There just hasn’t been much of that around lately.

I really didn't think the Storm Hy Road would be that much stronger than the T-Road Pearl ...boy was I wrong.

I drilled it 4 1/2" pin to PAP, pin near my grip centerline, 45* cg and a hole down below my thumb. I was expecting this ball to give me a look for playing straighter angles on patterns that have started to break down. It is actually just as strong overall as my Rapid Fire, it just reads the midlane a little better.

I really like the motion it makes; it's just a lot more ball than I though it would be.
Great piece....
